
In manufacturing we focus on on Surface Mounted Technology (SMT).
Due to our assembly lines with stencil printers, placement machines and reflow soldering machines we are able to place 500.000 daily and therefor mid sized and big batch sizes annually. During this process we are flexible and able to to place designs of the size 0201 up to a edge length of 55x55 mm.
Our production activity is complemented under the respective regulations with Through Hole Technology (THT). This includes conventional placing, cable termination, manufacturing of inductive components and assemblies up to product labeling and wrapping of the assemblies.
Furthermore soldering with nitrogen is used. Since the publishing of the guidelines 2002/96/EG about electric and electronic IEC connectors (WEEE) and 2002/95/EG about the restriction of using certain dangerous substances in electric and electronic devices (RoHs) on 01.07.2006 it is forbidden to use chemical elements such as lead, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB, mercury and PBDE. Therefor these elements are prohibited to be part of electronic devices and assemblies. By using nitrogen for soldering no matter if it is wave, reflow or selective soldering the result is often better because nitrogen is a better heat conductor than air. It also allows working at a lower process temperature. This reduces the stress on assemblies and components. The protective gas atmosphere used for wave soldering reduces additionally the oxidation of the components and therefor reduces the dross generation. By adding nitrogen the surface tension is modified and the flow characteristic of the solder is improved. We direct special attention to the routine test. We use proving techniques specific to the customer and the product for example FCT method of test, flying test and optic inspection devices.
At our fully automated SMD assembly lines we only use well known technology, which can work in a three shift system. This allows us cost-efficient equipping of conventional components as well as taking on the request of our customers and realizing special solutions. Besides the producing of end products Plättner Elektronik GmbH offers his customers SMD equipping and THT equipping of circuit plates as sheer wage-work. If this occurs we can take care of the procurement logistics.

If there are no manufacturing and test specification available we can work them out for you to and guarantee high quality. We also would be pleased do the wrapping of the products for you up to your standards.
We gladly terminate for our customers single strands, cable harnesses, interface cable, wires for computers and communication or flat cable for soldering -, cutting - , crimp- and clamping technique. We are able to cut out and crosscut the wires and braid wires semiautomatic with our production machines.
Additionally we offer to equip the requested manufacture with electronic and mechanical components. We also like to undertake the task of production of fully wired cables and cable harnesses with various plugs, contacts or ferrules.
Our offers include the single production and automatic production of mid-size quantities in the area of premium coiled wire products. Thereby our range reaches from single coils, transformers, transducers and throttles to power transformers and core coils. Our strength lies in high quality, reliability while being highly flexible and having short delivering periods.
Whether big or small coils, from single piece to serial production – we are able to wind coils lascustomers request: single, bifilar or trifilar at a wire size from 0,01 mm to 4mm.
The In-System Programming (ISP) allows to program a logic circuit directly in the application system. For this usually a simple serial connection is used. The advantage of the in-system programming is that the program circuit no longer has to be removed from the target system. It will be charged less mechanically and the entire programming process is faster.
